Jeni brings more than 17 years of experience across a broad spectrum of mental health services to her role as Vocational/Outreach Coordinator at IMHR Epicenter. Among other essential functions, she directs community awareness and education programs to inform providers, consumers, families, educators, media and community leaders about psychosis (versus normal adolescent behavior), evidence-based early intervention resources and the importance of reducing the stigma surrounding mental disorders.
Her prior experience includes serving as a Fidelity Reviewer for Maricopa County, and as Site Manager for a program dedicated to providing basic needs of seriously mentally ill adults and improving their quality of life through consumer-run, non-clinical peer-to-peer programs for Stand Together And Recover (S.T.A.R). She also worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, and as a Rehabilitation Specialist for Value Options, helping individuals pursue involvement in meaningful daily activities.
Jeni's favorite pastimes include photography, and having fun with her family—including her husband, two daughters, three dogs, turtles and bunny.
